Walter Virden, III is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Paris Junior College and Southern Methodist University. He is a certified Public Accountant, Persoanl Financial Specialist, and Certified Financial Planner. He also holds the NASD Series 7 and Series 66 Licenses and a State of Texas General Lines Agent Insurance License. He started his career as a staff accountant with Boyd, Young, Gano & Stallings, CPA’s and then beacame an Oil and Gas Accountant with Atlantic Richfield Company. In 1972, he founded his own company, Walter Virden, III CPA’s. In 1999 Anneta Chapman and Walter Virden IV admitted as partners to form Virden, Chapman & virden, PLLC, CPA’s. In 2000, Virden Financial was formed to provide financial planning and investment advisory services.
Walter is an active member with Saint Mark’s Church in Arlington. He is a member of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, President of the Arlington Rotary Club, Past President, Board of Trustees for the Arlington Museum of Art and Treasurer of the Arlington Rotary Foundation. Walter is married to Sandy and has grown children.
Anneta Chapman is a graduate of Texas Tech University and has worked with Walter Virden, III since November 1978 and is a Personal Financial Specialist and a Certified Financial Planner. She is a member of the Texas Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s.
Anneta is a member of First Baptist Church-Arlington, served on the PTA Board in Mansfield and has managed competitive soccer teams for 10 years. She is married with two grown children and in her spare time loves to travel.
Walter Virden, IV. is a graduate of Arlington High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The University of the South (Sewanee). He is a Certified Public Accountant since 1997 and holds NASD Series 7 and Series 66 Licenses as well as his Personal Financial Specialist Designation. He is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Walter is a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ft. Worth and currently serves as Treasurer. Walter is married to his wife Robyn and they have two children, Walter and Henry. In his free time Walter enjoys running, swimming, gardening, music, and coaching.
